Traditional seam roofs date back hundreds of years and use materials like lead, copper and zinc which, despite advances in prefabrication techniques and fixing technology, require a highly skilled, specialised installer to achieve a good installation. Sheets will often be cut and welded onsite and the nature of the products means that they are usually bespoke. The attractive finish of this labour-intensive, complicated and expensive roofing option can be emulated by Vieo which is cost-effective, precision manufactured and quick to install.

Convenient and commercial are two terms that perfectly describe this new roofing system, which is a quickly installed alternative to traditional metal roofing.   It provides the aesthetic and charm of time-honoured materials like lead or zinc and is manufactured by Euroclad using the latest technology.

Vieo means stitch or seam in Latin which refers to the seam overlap that is folded and closed to secure the roof and make it weather able.  The roof is a perfect complement of cost, technology and form.  A range of exciting materials, colours and finishes provides a relatively low-cost alternative to traditional systems without compromising colour, quality or finish.

Vieo is available as a warm or cold roof and is suitable for use with residential, commercial and public buildings. The principle is simple and effective. A flat pan sheet features simple over and under laps each side. These laps sit over a stainless steel clip that is fixed to the substrate. The laps are mechanically folded over the clip in a straightforward, two-stage process.
